- 1 month: All these items need to be looked at for a choice to be made. Maybe they can be transferred to a more long term storage area if they’re in a “high traffic” drawer. Some of those items may also have to be lost.
- 1 day per week: All these items constitute the very significant part your kitchen and ought to be placed in the drawers simplest to get and closest to where they’re used.

- bottle opener
- skewers for kabobs
- wine bottle opener
- egg slicer
- cheese grater
This may seem as if it goes against the notion of getting rid of clutter, but I believe that each kitchen needs a drawer which may capture the odds and ends that are really useful but just don’t fit in to any other drawer. The trick is to be certain that this will not develop into an overflowing container which whatever you can’t make up your mind about goes into.
A good idea would be to look at what’s in the drawer since you go to place something in it and put on the time rule which was discussed previously. If something hasn’t been utilized in a long time do yourself a favor and throw it! Are there many copies in the Shop? Eliminate some of them! Keeping this drawer manageable can make it more convenient and helpful while preventing it from becoming a center for clutter.
