4 Inch Dresser Drawer Pulls – Drawer pulls (also called only pulls) would be the knob-like handles that are adjusted into the piece of this drawer facing the front and are used to pull the drawer from a piece of furniture (a chest, for instance).

The pulls are basically attached to drawers to make it much easier to pull out the drawers. In many pieces of furniture, drawer pulls are all absent. In such cases, however, these knobs are replaced by grooves at the base border of the drawers that can be used to place the fingers and also to pull the drawers out. From time to time, these grooves are created at the middle of the front piece of the drawer. Whether there is a pull at the middle of the front piece of the drawer or at the base border depends on how the designer of this piece of furniture believes it would fit it aesthetically.

Drawer pulls are made from plastic, metal or wood, depending upon the fabric of the furniture it’s being used in. Besides, in addition, it is based upon the design of their furniture, and the associated manufacturing costs. Metal and metal pulls are usually costlier than the plastic ones.

Drawers can take either a couple of pulls. The amount of knobs at a drawer depends upon the horizontal size of this drawer. If the drawer is too big for one pull, it might have two pulls to make it much easier to pull out the drawer. Lengthwise smaller drawers typically carry one pull.

Some drawer pulls have a designed plate to which a handle is repaired, although this is not a general rule. The plate is connected to the front piece of the jar, along with a handle is attached at a sense to the plate so that it can either swing out of a couple of points on the plate to create a drop drawer pull. Such handles are called drop handles or swing grips. The grips can also be connected to the plates together with attachments in this way so that they become immovable. Typically, the plates to that the handles are mended are adorned with piercings, embossing and rocks. The grips could be ring-shaped, rectangular, or cut in even or irregular shapes, depending on how the design the designer would like to put.

The majority of other drawer pulls come in one piece, either as a regular handle or like a shape that has a grip to hold to.
